Status of the Work in Erstfeld
At the beginning of February 2010, installation of the inner lining with the concreting systems was started. In the east tunnel, 200 m have already been concreted. Lining work in the cross galleries continues, also on the foundations for the inner lining (kickers). In the west tunnel, 58% of the kickers have been concreted, in the east tunnel 75%. In the east and west branchoff tunnels, excavation work for the expansion is in progress.
